Bishop Stenio Capre, Harvest of Haiti Inc.
Harvest of Haiti Inc. is a Minnesota-based international non-profit interdenominational religious ministry. By developing schools for children and educating adults in trade/professional skills, the ministry has given many people skills to support themselves and aid others. Additionally, we desire to encourage invention, development of industry and creation of jobs. Through evangelistic crusades, church planting, Bible distribution, discipleship, pastoral seminars and Bible schools, the gospel continues to effectively reach many people every year while aiding them in growth. Bishop Stenio Capre believes that Christians can lead the way in the workplace and use their talents for blessing others.
Hungarian Evangelical Fellowship
The Hungarian Evangelical Fellowship is primarily helping with the present refugee crisis in Hungary. President Gábor Iványi and two others set out for Tovarnik in Croatia with a microbus full of donated goods. The consignment, weighing a ton, consisted of 450 raincoats, 150 tents, polyfoam, warm clothes, blankets, 300 1.5-litre bottles of mineral water, baby baths, baby garments, baby foods, cheese, apples, 100 litres of milk, "all the bread in the district" and fruit juice. The ministry has also recently cooked 7,000 portions of food for refugees at the railway termini. It has now largely been cleared of refugees but they anticipate needs rising again in Budapest.
